A One pager is a document where you describe your business idea on one page. It is usually designed with charts and infographics supporting the explanation of your business idea. At a minimum, your One Pager should clearly describe the pain you found and the business opportunity it presents, how your solution fixes the problem and why it is unique.
A Pitch deck is a document where you describe you business idea in detail but without writing unnecessary information either. It is usually the document an investor looks at if you spark his interest with your One pager. It should include an explanation of your business idea, the problem you are solving, your unique value proposition, competitive edge, your financial plan, market size and competition analysis, your existing revenue steam, and core team members. You should also include at least a three-year sales and revenue prediction with current P&L.
Your application should include your business plan, which also has to include:
- Key performance indicators and the response of the market
- Technology and intellectual property

How do I know if the company I am building is a startup?
In general startups are companies that are tackling challenging market opportuinities with non-existent or higly innovative market approaches. Here are also some indicators you can look to determine whether you are a small business or a startup:
- Is you revenue going to grow with an increased userbase and not with hiring more people?
- Do investors in you company expect a 10x returns?
- Do investors expect that the business will be sold in the future?
- If you have answered affirmitively to these questions then, there is a high chance that you are running a startup.
Where can I find investors?
If you get in touch with a club like ours, the chances that we will find an investor, that is interested specifically in your company are much higher, than trying to find one on your own through your own personal network. We know who to connect with a particular company, but more importantly, we know when a startup is ready for an investement and who we will be able to acquire one.
What do I need to acquire an investement?
A good interdisciplinary team. The drive and plans to conquer international markets. A presentation in the form of an “investor deck”. Answers to several questions. All of this and more is conquered in the “investement readiness”. If you don’t have it yet, we can help you get it.
How much funds should I collect in the very first round of funding?
The height of investement is dependant on the phase in which you are as a team and a company. The most important things is that you know what you need in order to acomplish your goals and what are the costs connected with this. In the end it is necessary, that the company is ready to receive an investement. If this is not the case, the chances of finding and receiving an investement are very slim.
How does the detailed inspection look like?
The detailed inspection begins when the investor mets with you for the first time. There he observes you as a businessman, a person and a leader. Later the inspection is conducted also on other segments, everything from the product itself and up to the processes inside the company. All of the contracts and the ownership of intelectual property is inspected by a specialized legal team. The final result signalized whether the team is able to realize their goals and successfully sell their product and eventually make a successfull international company.
